Aspectos antropológicos de la relación entre abuelos y nietos en el municipio de Bello - Antioquia

Abstract

RESUMEN: el presente trabajo analiza la imagen y los roles de los abuelos como agentes del proceso de enculturación, en un grupo de familias del municipio de Bello. La metodología utilizada consistió en el estudio de ocho casos a través de entrevistas, las cuales fueron analizadas a partir de variables como las relaciones afectivas, los problemas sociales que afectan el municipio y las relaciones intergeneracionales establecidas entre abuelos y nietos. Se identificaron factores que influyen en la percepción general que tienen los padres y los niños de la figura del abuelo y su papel en la transmisión de la cultura a las nuevas generaciones, dando como resultado una descripción de aspectos positivos y negativos que se presentan entre las relaciones abuelos y nietos, nietos y abuelos y padres, abuelos y nietos.

ABSTRACT: the present work analyzes the image and the roles of the grandparents as agents of the enculturation process, in a group of families in the municipality of Bello. The methodology used consisted of studying eight cases through interviews, which were analyzed based on variables such as affective relationships, social problems that affect the municipality and the intergenerational relationships established between grandparents and grandchildren. Factors influencing the general perception that parents and children have of the figure of the grandfather and their role in transmitting the culture to the new generations were identified, resulting in a description of positive and negative aspects that appear among the grandparents and grandchildren relationships, grandchildren and grandparents and parents, grandparents and grandchildren.
