Participación de estudiantes en estrategias desarrolladas para la prevención del VIH/SIDA por Bienestar Universitario

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente proyecto investigativo se desarrolló en la línea de énfasis de Gerencia Social y Desarrollo Organizacional, del Departamento de Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Antioquia. Pretende dar cuenta de los intereses, motivaciones y percepciones frente a las categorías de prevención y VIH/SIDA, es decir, imaginarios, tabúes y creencias con respecto a este tema y a su vez la influencia que tienen en el proceso participativo de estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas en las estrategias para la prevención del VIH/SIDA, desarrolladas por Bienestar Universitario de la Universidad de Antioquia. Igualmente se ubica la importancia de la educación y de los sujetos involucrados (estudiantes e institución) para lograr una participación reciproca e incluyente que pueda ser de gran aporte para la prevención de infecciones de transmisión sexual.

ABSTRACT: This research project was developed in the line of emphasis of Social Management and Organizational Development, of the Department of Social Work of the University of Antioquia. It aims to account for the interests, motivations and perceptions regarding the categories of prevention and HIV / AIDS, that is, imaginary, taboos and beliefs regarding this topic and in turn the influence they have on the participatory process of students of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences in strategies for the prevention of HIV / AIDS, developed by the University Welfare of the University of Antioquia. Likewise, the importance of education and the subjects involved (students and institution) to achieve reciprocal and inclusive participation that can be of great contribution to the prevention of sexually transmitted infections is located.
