Representaciones de la relación madre-hijo en adolescentes gestantes institucionalizadas

Abstract

RESUMEN: El propósito de la presente investigación consistió en la identificación, la descripción y el análisis de las representaciones maternas sobre la relación madre-hijo, en cuatro adolescentes gestantes institucionalizadas, para finalmente relacionarlas con las ansiedades y temores que surgen durante el período de la gestación. El estudio se realizó en la Institución Casa de La Divina Providencia de la ciudad de Medellín- Antioquia. La muestra de la población estuvo conformada por cinco adolescentes gestantes bajo medida de protección, con edades entre los 14 y 17 años y con un periodo de gestación entre el segundo y tercer trimestre. La investigación realizada tuvo un diseño cualitativo y un enfoque hermenéutico. Como resultado se identificaron en los datos obtenidos, diferentes tipos de representaciones que tienden a ser más negativas por el momento evolutivo y psicosocial en el que se encuentran las adolescentes gestantes, así mismo se realizó una descripción de la tres representaciones principales que surgen durante el embarazo, y por último se identificó que los principales temores y ansiedades están relacionados con el apoyo social que la adolescente percibe, las emociones que se generan durante esta etapa y el temor frente al futuro.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of the present investigation was to identify, describe and analyze maternal representations of the mother-child relationship in four institutionalized pregnant adolescents, in order to finally relate them to the anxieties and fears that arise during the gestation period. The study was conducted at the Casa de la Divina Providencia Institution in the city of Medellín-Antioquia. The sample of the population consisted of five pregnant adolescents under protection measure, with ages between 14 and 17 years and with a gestation period between the second and third trimesters. The research carried out had a qualitative design and a hermeneutical approach. As a result, different types of representations that tend to be more negative for the evolutionary and psychosocial moment in which pregnant adolescents are found were identified in the data obtained, as well as a description of the three main representations that arise during pregnancy. , and finally it was identified that the main fears and anxieties are related to the social support that the adolescent perceives, the emotions that are generated during this stage and the fear of the future.
