Funcionamiento familiar y consumo de alcohol en adolescentes

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente estudió se realizó en el municipio de El Carmen de Viboral correspondiente al departamento de Antioquia; se tuvo como objetivo describir las relaciones entre el funcionamiento familiar y el consumo de alcohol en los adolescentes de los grados décimo y undécimo de las instituciones educativas de este municipio. La investigación fue cuantitativa de tipo descriptiva correlacional. Se encuestaron un total de 333 estudiantes entre 14 y 20 años de 4 instituciones educativas evidenciándose que el 76% consumen alcohol frente a un 24% que no consume. Aunque no se presenta consumo perjudicial y dependencia en muchos casos, se evidencia un grado significativo de asociación entre el consumo de alcohol y problemas relacionados con la comunicación, la cohesión y la adaptabilidad familiar.

ABSTRACT: This study was carried out in the town of El Carmen de Viboral, corresponding to the department of Antioquia; is had as objective to describe the relations between family functioning and the consumption of alcohol in the adolescents of the tenth and eleventh grades of the educational institutions of this municipality. The research was quantitative, descriptive, correlational. were surveyed a total of 333 students between 14 and 20 years of 4 educational institutions this shows that the 76% alcohol consumption compared to a 24% not ,although there were no harmful consumption and dependency in many cases, is evidence a significant degree of association between alcohol consumption and problems related to communication, cohesion and adaptability.
