Influencia de los esquemas desadaptativos precoces en la estructuración de rasgos de personalidad de un grupo de universitarios de la región de Urabá

Abstract

RESUMEN: en esta investigación se tuvo como objetivo identificar los esquemas desadaptativos precoces que pueden influir en la estructuración de rasgos de personalidad de un grupo de universitarios de la región de Urabá. Para ello, se implementó un tipo de estudio exploratorio, descriptivo y correlacional, puesto que, no había antecedentes en la región sobre el tema y se buscaba establecer relación entre dos variables, para lo cual, se tomó una muestra por conveniencia de 43 estudiantes universitarios inscritos en algunos de los programas ofertados en las universidades presentes en la región de Urabá. Del mismo modo, al total de la muestra se les aplicó el cuestionario exploratorio de la personalidad (CEPER-III) y el Young Schema Questionnaire - Short Form (YSQ-SF). Además, los datos obtenidos fueron sometidos a la prueba de distribución normal de Shapiro- Wilk y significancia estadística donde los rasgos de personalidad esquizoide, narcisista, evitativo y depresivo obtuvieron un mejor rendimiento. Igualmente, se utilizó la prueba de Rho Sperman, donde se evidenció correlaciones significativas entre los siguientes esquemas desadaptativos y rasgos de personalidad, autosacrificio y narcisista, estándares inflexibles y narcisista y, autocontrol insuficiente con evitativo y depresivo. Por otro lado, se espera que esta investigación propicie espacios para futuras investigaciones sobre las dos variables estudiadas.

ABSTRACT: the objective of this research was to identify early maladaptive schemas that may influence the structuring of personality traits in a group of university students in the region of Urabá. For this purpose, an exploratory, descriptive and correlational type of study was implemented, since there were no antecedents in the region on the subject and the aim was to establish a relationship between two variables, for which a convenience sample of 43 university students enrolled in some of the programs offered in the universities present in the region of Urabá was taken. Similarly, the exploratory personality questionnaire (CEPER-III) and the Young Schema Questionnaire - Short Form (YSQ-SF) were applied to the total sample. In addition, the data obtained were subjected to the Shapiro-Wilk normal distribution test and statistical significance where the schizoid, narcissistic, avoidant and depressive personality traits obtained a better performance. Likewise, the Rho Sperman test was used, where significant correlations were evidenced between the following maladaptive schemas and personality traits, self-sacrifice and narcissistic, inflexible standards and narcissistic and, insufficient self-control with avoidant and depressive. On the other hand, it is hoped that this research will provide opportunities for future research on the two variables studied.
