El concepto ontológico de fuerza en Leibniz

Abstract

RESUMEN: Una de las mayores innovaciones del pensamiento de Leibniz y de gran significado para la filosofía posterior es, sin duda, su concepción de la fuerza, un concepto propio de la naturaleza de todo ente, y no simplemente de las cosas de la naturaleza. El texto quiere destacar dicho concepto, entendido como fuerza activa originaria frente a las concepciones de Aristóteles y la escolástica, pero también frente a las múltiples acepciones de fuerza introducidas por Leibniz. Además, pa- ra dar cuenta de su naturaleza, se abordan las nociones de tendencia, ímpetu e im- pedimento.

ABSTRACT: One of the major innovations of Leibniz's thought, of enormous meaning for later philosophy is, without any doubt, bis conception of force, a concept proper to the nature of every being and not only to the objects of nature. The text aims at emphasizing the concept, understanding it as an active and originary force in opposition to the conceptions of Aristotle and Scholasticism, but also in opposition to the multiple meanings of force introduced by Leibniz. Furthermore, in order to give an account of their nature, the notions of tendency, impetus and impediment are studied.
