La crítica de Goethe y Hegel a la teoría de los colores de Newton

Abstract

RESUMEN: El artículo es una confrontación entre el espíritu de la filosofía de la naturaleza y el de la ciencia de la naturaleza. Hay un paralelismo interesante entre la crítica actual hacia la ciencia tradicional exacta y matemática, proveniente de un interés por un nuevo concepto de la naturaleza de inspiración holista, ecológico y ético, y la crítica que en su época hicieron Goethe y Hegel a Newton, a su espíritu analítico, disociado y artificioso para la solución y la interpretación de los experimentos, y para la evaluación del status de la teoría.

ABSTRACT: The article is a confrontation between the spirit of the Philosophy of Nature and the Science o f Nature. An interesting parallelism exists between the present day critique of traditional exact and mathematical science, originating in an interest in a new concept of nature which is holistically, ecologically and ethically inspired, and the critique Goethe and Hegel made in their time of Newton, of his analytical spirit, which proved dissociating and artificial for the solution and interpretation of experiments and for the evaluation of the status of theory.
