La teoría newtoniana del tiempo y su recepción en Kant

Abstract

RESUMEN: L a problemática está planteada en la perspectiva actual, ante las críticas de la física (teoría de la relatividad), la filosofía (la fenomenología de los estratos subjetivos y vivenciales del tiempo), y las ciencias de la cultura (etnología y filoso- fía de la religión). Luego se explica la modificación que Kant introduce en el concepto newtoniano del tiempo, y se estudian finalmente las ventajas y las des- ventajas del tiempo posicional puro de Kant para la estructura modal-temporal, si se quiere pasar de lo subjetivo a lo objetivo del tiempo.

ABSTRACT: The problem is posed in a present day perspective, in view of criticism coming from Physics (Theory of Relativity), Philosophy (the Phenomenology of the subjective and perceptional strata of time) and the Science o f Culture (Ethnology and Philosophy of Religion). The modification of the Newtonian concept of time introduced by Kant is then explained and a study is finally undertaken of the ad- vantages and disadvantages Kant' s pure positional time would have in reference to the modal-temporal structure, should there be an interest in passing from what is subjective to what is objective in time.
