El Bullerengue en Chigorodó. Dos cantadoras que buscan en el relevo generacional la preservación de este género musical y sus tradiciones

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo aborda a través de la investigación biográfico-narrativa, algunos aspectos del trabajo musical de las bullerengueras Inés Morelo González y Liria Julio Mejía. Estas cantautoras de Chigorodó, poseen amplio conocimiento musical y cultural que nos permitirá exaltar sus trabajos alrededor de este ritmo, haciendo un recorrido sobre sus quehaceres artísticos tradicionales, a la vez que se les dará un lugar protagónico como personas valiosas, tomando sus voces y la memoria de sus experiencias como principal fuente de información. Este trabajo da cuenta del relevo generacional del Bullerengue en el municipio de Chigorodó desde sus perspectivas, con las que han buscado la preservación de este género artístico y sus tradiciones.

ABSTRACT: This work addresses through biographical-narrative, research aspects of the musical work of bullerengueras Inés Morelo González and Liria Julio Mejía. These singer-songwriters from Chigorodó have musical and cultural knowledge that will allow us to exalt their work around this rhythm, understanding their path through their traditional artistic endeavors. At the same time they will be given a leading place as resilient beings through their voices and memories of their experiences as the main source of information. In this work, the generational change of the Bullerengue in the municipality of Chigorodó is adressed from their perspectives, with which they have sought the preservation of this artistic genre and its traditions.
