El entre como fundamento de la tragedia en el Empédocles de Hölderlin

Abstract

RESUMEN: Ver en el entre una innovación filosófica presente en el fragmento de Holderlin, El fundamento para Empédocles, es la idea central del texto. En él se resuelve el conflicto dramático, la tensión armónica de arte y naturaleza, de lo orgánico y lo aórgico. Expresa el medio en que se efectúa la lucha de estos extremos, la muerte sacrificial, pero también el sentimiento de la íntima reconciliación entre los opuestos en disputa. Holderlin concretiza todo este proceso en la figura de Empédocles y el mundo de ser tiempo, aplicación con la que quiere aclarar el significado de la tragedia.

ABSTRACT: The finding of a philosophical innovation present in the term "between" in one of Holderlin's fragments -The foundation according to Empedocles-, constitutes the central idea of the text. In it are resolved the dramatic confliét, the harmonic tension of art and nature, of what is organic and aorgic. It expresses the place where the conflict among these extremes takes place -sacrificial death-, but also the sentiment of intimate reconciliation among the opposites in dispute. Holderlin gives all this porcess a concretion in the figure of Empedocles and the world o f being time, an application by means of which he means to clarify the meaning of the tragedy.
