Aporte de las antologías y de las selecciones a una historia de la literatura

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este artículo pretende plantear la importancia de la revisión de las antologías y selecciones de textos literarios en un proyecto de historia de la literatura, en tanto obras con una perspectiva crítica e histórica. Para ello se parte de una revisión del concepto de antología y se rastrea la historia de esta forma discursiva, la cual no solo tiene la función de divulgación de los textos, sino que además evidencia el gusto literario de una época y a la vez configura el gusto de las épocas venideras. Se revisa específicamente el papel desempeñado por las antologías en el panorama de las letras colombianas.

ABSTRACT: This article intends to state the importance of reviewing anthologies and selections of literary texts in a project on history of literature, taking into account a critical and historical perspective. In order to get this objective, the article begins with a review of the concept of “anthology” and tracks the history of this discourse which functions as a way of spreading texts, makes evident the literary taste of an age and shape the taste of the coming ages. The role of the anthologies in the panorama of the Colombian writing is evaluated, as well.
