Representaciones sociales sobre lo afro en estudiantes de grado 11 en tres instituciones educativas oficiales de Medellín

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo de investigación ha sido desarrollado en la línea de “Identidades Culturales” de las prácticas pedagógicas de la Licenciatura en educación básica con énfasis en ciencias sociales de la Universidad de Antioquia, tuvo como objetivo describir las representaciones sociales que sobre lo afro tienen los estudiantes de tres grupos de grado 11 de tres instituciones educativas oficiales de Medellín, las cuales fueron la Institución Educativa Javiera Londoño, la Institución Educativa Santa Rosa de Lima y el Centro Formativo de Antioquia (CEFA). Para el abordaje de este tema investigativo se optó por un tipo de investigación cualitativa con la implementación de un enfoque etnográfico educativo, las técnicas que favorecieron la recolección de la información fueron la observación participante y la realización de diarios pedagógicos, la asociación libre, la colcha de retazos y el fotolenguaje. El presente trabajo está estructurado de acuerdo a nuestra pretensión investigativa, puesto que posibilita la construcción y reelaboración de técnicas e instrumentos coherentes con los propósitos y objetivos deseados a obtener en los escenarios de investigación y permite al investigador hacer parte del contexto educativo que desea investigar. Consideramos pertinente indagar por las representaciones sociales que sobre lo afro habitan en las escuelas debido a que sentimos que como maestros tenemos un compromiso ético y político de favorecer la interculturalidad, de manera tal que se combatan discursos hegemónicos y prácticas que al día de hoy persisten en donde se niega las diferentes formas de ser, vivir y pensar. Partimos del hecho de que esta discusión no está cerrada, por el contrario es necesario investigar y construir más alrededor de esta problemática social que atenta contra la interculturalidad del país, en este sentido, más que unas conclusiones, presentaremos unas reflexiones sobre nuestro proceso de investigación.

ABTRASCT: This research work has been developed along the lines of "Cultural Identities" of pedagogical practices of the Degree in Basic Education with emphasis in social sciences from the University of Antioquia, aimed to describe the social representations about the Afro have students of three groups of grade 11 of three official educational institutions of Medellin, which were the Javiera Londoño Educational Institution, the Santa Rosa de Lima Educational Institution and the Antioquia Training Center (CEFA) To approach this research topic we chose a type of qualitative research with the implementation of an educational ethnographic approach, techniques that favored the collection of information were participant observation and conducting educational journals, free association, bedspread of scraps and the photo-language. This paper is structured according to our research aim, since it allows the construction and re-elaboration of technical and consistent instruments desired to get on stage research and allows the investigator to be part of the educational context you want to research purposes and objectives. We consider it pertinent to inquire about the social representations that Afro-Americans inhabit in schools because we feel that as teachers we have an ethical and political commitment to favor interculturality, in a way that combats hegemonic discourses and practices that persist today. where the different ways of being, living and thinking are denied. We start from the fact that this discussion is not closed, on the contrary it is necessary to investigate and build more around this social problem that threatens the interculturality of the country, in this sense, more than conclusions, we will present some reflections on our research process .
