T: This collaborative action research project was designed to describe how women’s literature fosters positive interaction and collaborative learning in a group of eleventh-grade girls at the Centro Formativo de Antioquia (CEFA), located in Medellín. The project was co-constructed with 38 girls enrolled in the English Specialization offered by the public institution. Data were collected through a focus group, student surveys, and reflective journals. Moreover, the strategy revolved around topics and activities related to violence against women, women’s identity, relations, and empowerment. Finally, findings suggest that the proposed activities enhanced students’ agreement-making skills, co-construction, solidarity, women’s history awareness, and a sense of sisterhood.spa
