Participación democrática en la escuela : Sistematización de la Iniciativa Escolar Jarayú implementada por la Corporación Región en el municipio de Tierralta, Córdoba, durante 2016- 2019

Abstract

RESUMEN: La presente tesis se realizó a partir del interés conjunto por recuperar la experiencia formativa de la Iniciativa Escolar Jarayú implementada en la Institución Educativa Agroecológico Nuevo Oriente del municipio de Tierralta, que hace parte de otras once iniciativas desarrolladas en el Sur de Córdoba mediante la estrategia Escuelas en Paz de la Corporación Región en alianza con Unicef, haciendo énfasis en el periodo 2016-2019. Esto con el fin de comprender los aportes de la iniciativa al fortalecimiento de la participación democrática de los y las estudiantes; teniendo como metodología la sistematización en su potencial para recuperar las voces y experiencias de quienes dotaron de sentido el proceso formativo. Partiendo de la descripción y análisis de los elementos principales que fundamentan la Iniciativa Escolar y haciendo una recopilación temporal de los momentos más significativos desde los testimonios de los y las participantes, es posible reconocer en la estrategia principios democráticos en las narrativas de los y las estudiantes y en sus maneras de interactuar, verse a sí mismos y a los demás; ya que potenció sus capacidades para construir relaciones horizontales, expresarse con seguridad y libertad en espacios grupales y crear acciones colectivas para transformar las problemáticas de su entorno, retratando así el carácter democrático de la participación que implica la libre expresión de opiniones, la identificación con el bien común y la incidencia colectiva.

ABSTRACT: The present thesis was made from the joint interest to recover the formative experience of the School Initiative Jarayú implemented in the Educational Institution of Agroecológico Nuevo Oriente in the town of Tierralta, that is part of eleven initiatives developed in the south of Cordoba through the strategy Escuelas en Paz of Región Corporation in partnership with Unicef, focused in the period of 2016-2019. This to understand the contributions of the initiative to the strengthening of democratic participation of the students; having as methodology the systematization in its potential to recover the voices and experiences of those who gave a meaning to the formative process. Based on the description and analysis of the main elements that underpin the School Initiative and making a temporary compilation of the most significative moments from the testimonies of the participants, it is possible to recognize democratic principles in the strategy, in the students´narratives and their ways of interacting, seeing themselves and others; since increased their ability to build equal relationships, how to express themselves safely and freely in group spaces and create collective actions to transform the problems of their environment, portraying the democratic character of participation which implies the free expression of opinions, identification with the common good and the collective impact.
