¿Y dónde queda el tejido social después de la guerra? Recuperación de memoria asociada al conflicto armado, vereda La Represa de El Carmen de Viboral

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo hace una reconstrucción de los hechos ocurridos durante el conflicto armado en la vereda La Represa de El Carmen de Viboral a partir de los recuerdos asociados a hechos victimizantes de los mismos habitantes de esta localidad. Para este fin, se compilan los principales hechos de violencia basados en los testimonios de los habitantes de la vereda, al igual que se identifican los cambios producidos en el lugar de los hechos y en sus habitantes antes, durante y después del conflicto armado. En esta investigación se analiza la manera como la memoria hace parte de la reconstrucción del tejido social de un lugar en específico, de ahí que las principales categorías presentadas sean la de memoria, la de ruptura y la de reconstrucción del tejido social. La metodología tiene un enfoque cualitativo y se sirve de algunos recursos etnográficos como las entrevistas, la observación participante, los grupos focales, la cartografía social y un taller. Este escrito es, pues, una muy breve síntesis del conflicto armado en Colombia, en el Oriente Antioqueño y en El Carmen de Viboral. Presenta la reconstrucción del conflicto armado en la vereda La Represa con sus hechos victimizantes y seguidamente evidencia la forma en que los habitantes de la vereda reconstruyen su tejido social. En otras palabras, este trabajo intenta mostrar que la construcción de memoria ayuda efectivamente a la reparación de un tejido social quebrantado por el conflicto armado.

ABSTRACT: This paper aims at reconstruct the events that occurred during the armed conflict in the village of La Represa in El Carmen de Viboral based on the memories associated with the victimizing events of the inhabitants of this locality. For this purpose, the main facts of violence are compiled based on the testimonies of the inhabitants of the village, and the changes produced in the place of the events and in its inhabitants before, during and after the armed conflict are identified as well. In this research, the way in which memory is part of the reconstruction of the social fabric of a specific place is analyzed, hence the main categories presented are memory, rupture and reconstruction of the social fabric. The methodology has a qualitative approach and uses ethnographic resources such as interviews, participant observation, focus groups, social mapping and a workshop. This paper is, therefore, a very brief synthesis of the armed conflict in Colombia, in Eastern Antioquia and in El Carmen de Viboral. It presents the reconstruction of the armed conflict in the village of La Represa with its victimizing events and then shows the way in which the inhabitants of the village reconstruct their social fabric. In other words, this work tries to show that the construction of memory effectively helps to repair a social fabric broken by the armed conflict.
