Identidades en tránsito : proceso migratorio venezolano en la ciudad de Medellín

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente texto, tiene por objetivo dar a conocer los resultados del proyecto de investigación “Identidades en tránsito: proceso migratorio venezolano en la ciudad de Medellín”, realizado durante la Línea de Profundización de Problemas Sociales Contemporáneos, del Departamento de Trabajo de la Universidad de Antioquia. Este proceso fue llevado a cabo a partir de las modalidades de investigación: etnografía y estudio de caso múltiple con enfoque instrumental, las cuales permitieron acercarse al análisis de la reconfiguración de la identidad, en los procesos de reterritorialización de los migrantes venezolanos en el barrio Bello Oriente de la ciudad de Medellín. Durante este proceso se reconoce que los migrantes venezolanos en su reterritorialización en Bello Oriente, han adaptado algunas de las formas de ser y estar de este territorio y, a su vez, han permeado el barrio de ciertas características propias de su identidad, lo que propicia un proceso bidireccional en el cual, tanto los sujetos migrantes como el territorio de arribo están en constante transformación.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this report is to present the results of the research project “Identities in transit: Venezuelan migration process in the city of Medellín”, under the framework of the Line of study Contemporary Social Problems, of the Department of Social Work of the University of Antioquia. This process was carried out from the research modalities: ethnography and multiple instrumental case study, which allowed approaching the analysis of the reconfiguration of identity, in the processes of reterritorialization of Venezuelan migrants in the Bello Oriente neighborhood of the city of Medellin. During this research it is recognized that Venezuelan migrants in their reterritorialization in Bello Oriente, have adapted some of the ways of being and living of this territory and, at the same time, have permeated the neighborhood with certain characteristics of their identity, which leads to a bidirectional process in which both the migrants and the territory of arrival are in constant transformation.
