Construcción de matrices de compatibilidad química y capacitación del personal de la empresa INVESA S.A.

Abstract

RESUMEN : Las matrices de compatibilidad química nos guían sobre el adecuado almacenamiento de sustancias químicas de acuerdo con su afinidad, esto se hace en base a el Sistema Globalmente Armonizado de Clasificación y Etiquetado de Productos Químicos (SGA). Además, es de suma importancia que todo el personal tenga claridad de las diferentes sustancias que tiene la compañía, su nivel de peligrosidad, como debe ser su manipulación y almacenamiento. Como objetivo principal se tiene construir y actualizar las matrices de compatibilidad química y capacitar al personal sobre su uso. La metodología comienza recibiendo y evaluando el trabajo anterior y pendientes, la recolección de la información necesaria y ejecución de todas las actividades. Como resultados se obtuvo una matriz actualizada de 1000 sustancias químicas, capacitación al personal de todas las áreas de logística sobre su uso; igualmente sobre la manipulación y almacenamiento de estas sustancias en base al SGA. Finalmente, la herramienta desarrollada cuenta con una base de datos donde se puede consultar la información más relevante de las materias primas que se almacenan en las bodegas, así como los pictogramas para el fácil etiquetado de estas.

ABSTRACT : The chemical compatibility matrices guide us on the proper storage of chemicals according to their affinity, this is done based on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). In addition, it is of utmost importance that all personnel be clear about the different substances that the company has, their level of danger, and how they should be handled and stored. The main objective is to build and update the chemical compatibility matrices and train personnel on their use. The methodology begins with the reception and evaluation of the previous and pending work, the collection of the necessary information and the execution of all the activities. The results were an updated matrix of 1,000 chemical substances, training of personnel in all areas of logistics on their use, as well as on the handling and storage of these substances based on the GHS. Finally, the tool developed has a database where the most relevant information on the raw materials stored in the warehouses can be consulted, as well as pictograms for easy labeling of these substances.
