Una aproximación a las representaciones sociales sobre la convivencia en un proyecto de vivienda de interés prioritario

Abstract

RESUMEN : La urbanización Aguassí PH es un proyecto de vivienda de interés prioritario en el que se ha evidenciado la persistencia y la complejidad de la situación social debido a problemáticas de convivencia y de inseguridad que ponen en entredicho el objetivo restaurativo del programa. El propósito de este trabajo es identificar e interpretar las representaciones sociales sobre la noción de convivencia que tienen algunos de los residentes del complejo habitacional para comprender cómo estas pueden explicar las situaciones que tienen lugar en el proyecto. Con el apoyo teórico de las representaciones sociales y la metodología cualitativa, se diseña un guion de entrevista semiestructurada que permitiera acercarse a las dimensiones que soportan las representaciones sociales, esto es, el campo de la representación, la información de donde provienen y las actitudes que derivan de aquellas. La entrevista se realizó a tres residentes de la urbanización. Entre los hallazgos obtenidos se encontró que la convivencia se asocia con tolerancia y respeto hacia los demás, sin embargo, en su relación con el conflicto se identificaron dos representaciones, por un lado, una representación que concibe la convivencia como un escenario de mínima fricción, tensión o conflicto y, de otra parte, una en la que el conflicto es un hecho característico de la vida social.

ABSTRACT : The Aguassí PH housing development is a priority housing project in which the persistence and complexity of the social situation has been evidenced due to problems of coexistence and insecurity that call into question the restorative objective of the program. The purpose of this work is to identify and interpret the social representations on the notion of coexistence held by some of the residents of the housing complex in order to understand how they can explain the situations that take place in the project. With the theoretical support of social representations and qualitative methodology, a semi-structured interview script was designed to approach the dimensions that support social representations, that is, the field of representation, the information from which they come and the attitudes that derive from them. The interview was conducted with three residents of the urbanization. Among the findings obtained, it was found that coexistence is associated with tolerance and respect towards others; however, in its relationship with conflict, two representations were identified, on the one hand, a representation that conceives coexistence as a scenario of minimum friction, tension or conflict and, on the other hand, one in which conflict is a characteristic fact of social life.
