Diseño de un software de gestión de inventarios para instituciones educativas del municipio de Bello

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente proyecto aborda el diseño y desarrollo de un software de gestión de inventarios, adaptado a las necesidades administrativas de las instituciones educativas del municipio de Bello. Basándonos en un enfoque cualitativo, se realizaron diversas etapas de análisis y desarrollo con el objetivo de crear una herramienta eficiente y funcional. El proceso metodológico comenzó con la evaluación de las dificultades que las instituciones enfrentan en la gestión y control de sus activos. Posteriormente, se identificaron y determinaron las necesidades específicas que el software debía cubrir. Se llevó a cabo un análisis comparativo de softwares existentes, como Saint y el sistema utilizado por la Universidad de Antioquia, para examinar sus funcionalidades, módulos y estructuras de gestión de activos. Este análisis permitió identificar áreas de mejora y la necesidad potencial de desarrollar un software personalizado. El diseño del software se estructuró en módulos y funciones bien definidos, delimitando cada detalle minuciosamente para asegurar una solución integral y eficiente. Se consideraron las últimas tendencias en desarrollo de software y se investigaron herramientas tecnológicas modernas que podrían ser integradas en el diseño final. La recopilación de datos se realizó mediante entrevistas, experiencias propias y encuestas, garantizando una comprensión profunda de las necesidades y expectativas de las instituciones educativas. El resultado final es un diseño de software robusto y adaptable, destinado a optimizar la gestión de inventarios y mejorar los procesos administrativos de las instituciones educativas de Bello, ofreciendo una solución integral y personalizada

ABSTRACT: This project focuses on the design and development of inventory management software tailored to meet the administrative needs of educational institutions in the municipality of Bello. Utilizing a qualitative approach, various stages of analysis and development were undertaken with the goal of creating an efficient and functional tool. The methodological process began with the evaluation of the challenges institutions face in managing and controlling their assets. Subsequently, the specific needs that the software had to address were identified and determined. A comparative analysis of existing software, such as Saint and the system used by the University of Antioquia, was conducted to examine their functionalities, modules, and asset management structures. This analysis allowed for the identification of improvement areas and the potential need for custom software development. The software design was structured into well-defined modules and functions, meticulously detailing each aspect to ensure a comprehensive and efficient solution. Current trends in software development were considered, and modern technological tools that could be integrated into the final design were investigated. Data collection was carried out through interviews, personal experiences, and surveys, ensuring a deep understanding of the needs and expectations of educational institutions. The final result is a robust and adaptable software design aimed at optimizing inventory management and enhancing the administrative processes of educational institutions in Bello, offering a comprehensive and customized solution
