La enseñanza orientada al desarrollo socio-cognitivo en estudiantes de educación media del occidente antioqueño

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente artículo da cuenta de los Estilos de Enseñanza, las prácticas, estrategias o formas de enseñar que particularmente están orientadas al desarrollo socio cognitivo de la población estudiantil en educación Media (10° y 11°), describiendo el comportamiento de 16 instituciones educativas pertenecientes a 11 localidades de 7 municipios de la subregión del occidente antioqueño. Su construcción conceptual y conclusiones son presentados como resultado de la investigación cuali-cuantitativa llevada a cabo por la Universidad de Antioquia para describir las cualidades de los estilos, las características del desarrollo socio cognitivo y las percepciones que de los mismos tienen estudiantes y docentes.

ABSTARCT: This article reports the teaching styles and teaching practices or strategies that are particularly oriented to the social cognitive development of the student population in the high school (10 and 11 grades). It’s describes the behavior of 16 schools in 11 locations of 7 municipalities in the western Antioquia region. The conceptual construction and conclusions are presented as a result of qualitative and quantitative research conducted by the Universidad de Antioquia. Its describes the qualities of the styles, the characteristics of the social cognitive development and the perceptions of students and teachers.
