Resumen : The aim of this work is to affect gender imaginaries in the Institución Educativa Lorenza Villegas de Santos, sede Simona Duque, through children's literature and the exercise of literary creation. For this reason, an attempt was made to understand and affect, through a didactic sequence, these unjustified and culturally inherited gender imaginaries, showing worlds and realities different from those seen and heard by students outside of school, where roles and functions are assigned that are almost immovable to both men and women only because of their biological sex, which in turn leads to educational institutions not working towards gender equity; Therefore, the students of the Institution were shown that there are many possibilities of being a woman and that there is no biological or unique destiny that marks their path, but that it depends on what they decide, whether or not it is something traditional. These possibilities were presented to them through children's and young people's literature with a gender perspective, which is one of the most propitious means of doing so, because it allows them to think about other realities. The pedagogical journals were used as the main instrument of collection, since it was a qualitative research, and they were also used to structure the degree work in a narrative way.
