La música me ministra : la música en la vida religiosa de una comunidad cristiana cuadrangular

Abstract

RESUMEN: La presente tesis se refiere al papel que cumple la música en las celebraciones religiosas de la comunidad Cristiana Cuadrangular de Calasanz-Medellín. Es el resultado de una investigación etnográfica, en la cual se registra cada momento de las celebraciones, se analizan los diferentes discursos y se observan los elementos musicales y extra musicales que pueden dar cuenta del entramado sonoro de sus rituales y de las relaciones que se dan a través de la música, con Dios y con el otro.

ABSTRACT: This thesis refers to the role that music plays in the religious celebrations of the Foursquare Christian community of Calasanz-Medellín. It is the result of an ethnographic investigation, in which each moment of the celebrations is recorded, the different discourses are analyzed and the musical and extra-musical elements that can account for the sound framework of their rituals and the relationships that occur are observed. through music, with God and with the other.
