El golpe de estado de Augusto Pinochet en Chile visto a través de la prensa colombiana

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo pretende analizar cómo la prensa colombiana registró en sus páginas el golpe de Estado en Chile el 11 de septiembre de 1973. Además, descubrir los puntos de vista y las tendencias ideológicas de la prensa frente a este hecho y determinar de qué manera se diferenciaron los periódicos regionales en la cobertura de ese hecho noticioso. Después de haber hecho un análisis de medios sobre el golpe de estado a Allende y el inicio de la dictadura se encontró que el periódico que más noticias publicó fue uno conservador pero realmente no fue el que más informó.

ABSTRACT: This thesis expects to analyze how the Colombian press registered on their newspapers the Coup D‟Etat in Chile on September 11 of 1973. Besides, to find out the points of view of the press and their ideological trends related to this matter. Finally, to identify the different ways undertook by that regional newspapers to make the news coverage. After having made a mass media analysis with respect to the Coup D‟Etat to the President Allende and the beginning of the dictatorship, it was found out that a conservative newspaper was the one which published more news, but it was not really the one that informed the most.
