Niveles de estrés y ansiedad en un grupo de jóvenes técnicos y profesionales desempleados en el municipio de Chigorodó, Antioquia

Abstract

RESUMEN: El desempleo es un fenómeno que afecta a gran parte de la población en edad de trabajar tanto en Colombia, como en América Latina y el mundo, debido a lo cual, diferentes investigaciones se han enfocado tanto en descifrar las causas de este fenómeno, así como sus consecuencias, para poder contrarrestar dicha problemática. Sin embargo, la mayoría de las investigaciones tratan el desempleo en los adultos a nivel general y dejan a un lado las consecuencias que éste puede traer a los jóvenes que recién comienzan su vida laboral o que quieren ingresar al mundo del mercado, sin tener una respuesta positiva y que, además, han culminado sus estudios con el fin de obtener una experiencia laboral para generar ingresos y ser útiles en la sociedad en que se desarrollan. Es por esto que este trabajo se centra en conocer y describir los niveles de estrés y ansiedad en la población más joven que ha terminado sus estudios de educación superior, ya sea técnica, tecnológica o profesional, y no ha podido empezar a trabajar en lo que estudiaron, debido a que por varias razones no pueden acceder a un empleo formal.

ABSTRACT: Unemployment is a phenomenon that affects a large part of the population of working age in both Colombia, Latin America and the world, due to this, different investigations have focused both on deciphering the causes of this phenomenon, as well as its consequences, to be able to counteract this problem. However, most research deals with unemployment in adults at a general level and leaves aside the consequences that this can bring to young people who are just beginning their working life or who want to be able to enter the world of the market, without having a positive response and that also culminate their studies in order to obtain a work experience to generate income and be useful in the society in which they develop. This is why this work focuses on knowing and describing the levels of stress and anxiety in the younger population, who finish their studies of higher education, be it technical, technology or professional, and cannot start working on what they studied, because for several reasons they cannot access formal employment.
