Unas pisadas : relatos de vida en el barrio El Socorro, sector Los Ángeles (conocido también como "La Agonía") en la ciudad de Medellín

Abstract

RESUMEN: A partir de una serie de entrevistas realizadas a los habitantes más antiguos y que se han convertido con los años en referentes en el sector, se da inicio a la investigación para conocer las principales transformaciones que ha tenido el barrio durante estas casi siete décadas. Se hace el acercamiento mediante los relatos orales a falta de bases bibliográficas que nos sienten precedentes de la historia del barrio El Socorro, sector Los Ángeles en La Comuna 13 de Medellín. Se van identificando entonces los aspectos claves en este proceso y los personajes que de esta historia son protagonistas y piezas claves para entender el porqué del nombre de ‘Agonía’, la organización de las casas y de los habitantes en el espacio y como comunidad a través del trabajo en equipo, los convites y la creación de la Junta de Acción Comunal. Es de esta manera que creamos un relato propio y conjunto con los que allí habitamos, que nos identifique y nos acerque a esa, nuestra historia que recordamos en las conversaciones cotidianas, ahora como documento sobre la memoria de nuestra gente y nuestro territorio.

ABSTRACT: Based on a series of interviews performed to the oldest inhabitants of the sector who have become referents of the area over the years, this research is initiated to learn about the main transformations the neighborhood has undergone during these almost seven decades. The approach is made through storytelling due to the absence of bibliographical bases of the precedents in the history of "El Socorro" neighborhood, "Los Angeles" in the district 13 of Medellin. The key aspects of this process are then identified and the characters of this story are protagonists and key pieces to understand why the name of 'Agony', the organization of the houses and the area as a community through team work, feasts and the creation of the action board. It is in this way that we create our own and shared story with those who live there, that identify us and bring us closer to that, our history that we remember in our everyday conversations, now as a paper about the memory of our people and our territory.
