Rituales funerarios de la población Santo Domingo del municipio de Caucasia-Antioquia desde 1985 hasta el 2019

Abstract

RESUMEN: La presente investigación se llevó a cabo entre 2017 y 2019 en la población de Santo Domingo que está ubicada en kilómetro 29 en la vía que conduce Caucasia-Remedios. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa, teniendo como herramienta principal la etnografía. Así mismo, se consultaron fuentes secundarias para conocer los rituales funerarios realizados por los habitantes de la comunidad desde 1985 hasta el 2019. También se hicieron 10 entrevistas a adultos con edades que oscilan entre 25 y 60 años, cuatro a hombres y cinco a mujeres. De otro lado, se realizó un taller con la comunidad en el que se elaboró una cartografía social para conocer las concepciones que tienen los pobladores sobre la muerte. Por otro lado, se realizaron observaciones y observación participante, recorridos de campo, registro fotográfico y se llevó un diario de campo en el que se plasmaron los análisis y las reflexiones de las distintas actividades que presencie. Finalmente, una vez obtenida toda la información se organizó, se categorizó y se trianguló para proceder al análisis y escritura de esta investigación.

ABSTRACT: The present research was carried out between 2017 and 2019 in the town of Santo Domingo which is located at kilometer 29 on the road leading Caucasia-Remedios. A qualitative methodology was used, with ethnography as the main tool. Likewise, secondary sources were consulted to learn about the funeral rituals performed by the inhabitants of the community from 1985 to 2019. Ten interviews were also conducted with adults between the ages of 25 and 60, four with men and five with women. On the other hand, a workshop was held with the community in which a social cartography was prepared to know the conceptions that the inhabitants have about death. On the other hand, observations and participant observation were made, field tours photographic record and a field diary was kept in which the analyses and reflections of the various activities he witnessed were captured. Finally, once all the information was obtained, it was organized, categorized and triangulated to proceed with the analysis and writing of this research.
