Las nuevas lecturas un reto para el nutricionista dietista educador

Abstract

RESUMEN: Hacer divulgación de mensajes sobre alimentación y nutrición y educar a través de medios masivos de comunicación es un gran reto para el nutricionista dietista, en razón a que son estos los medios que van ganando terreno en las preferencias de jóvenes y adultos para tomar decisiones en relación con diversos aspectos de sus vidas, entre los cuales se encuentra lo alimentario. Para incursionar de manera asertiva en estos medios el nutricionista dietista requiere, entre otras competencias, la lectora, enfocada hacia la estética de la recepción, la lectura simbólica y la sociocrítica.

ABSTRACT: To divulge messages about feeding and nutrition and educate through means of massive communication is a great challenge for the nutrition dietician, this due to the fact that these same means are the ones wining over the preferences of young and adults alike at the time of making decisions regarding different aspects of their lives, being feeding habits one of them. To have an assertive participation in this media, the nutritionist dietician must have among other competences, reading; reading focused on the aesthetic of reception, the symbolic reading and the socio-criticism.
