El ser-corporal-en-el mundo como punto de partida en la fenomenología de la existencia corpórea

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente texto da cuenta de la manera como se entiende el cuerpo en la perspectiva teórica de la fenomenología de la existencia corpórea y cómo el ser-corporal-en-el-mundo es el punto de partida en la fenomenología del cuerpo. Identifica los modos de expresión del Körper (actitud naturalista) cuerpo cosa-tenido-pensado-objetivo; el Leib (actitud personalista) cuerpo propio-vivido-fenomenal-animado-agente-subjetivo; y el cuerpo quiasmático como una víaque permite entender la encarnación de la subjetividad. Asimismo, se presentan algunos rasgos que identifican el ser-corporal-en-el-mundo, entre ellos: el cuerpo es nuestro anclaje en-el mundo; el cuerpo porta en sí el punto cero; el cuerpo es entendido como sujeto de capacidades; el cuerpo es modo de expresión; el cuerpo se convierte en sujeto de la percepción; el cuerpo al estar abocado al mundo exige que sea entendido como sujeto de espacio y de tiempo; y el cuerpo es intercorporalidad.

ABSTRACT: This text explains how the body is understood in the theoretical perspective of the phenomenology of corporal existence, and how the corporal-being-in-the-world is the starting point in the phenomenology of the body. The modes of expression of the different notions of “body” are identified: Körper (naturalistic attitude), body as an owned, thought of, and objective thing; Leib (personalistic attitude), body as one’s own living body, phenomenological, animated, agent, and subjective; and the chiasmatic body enabling us to understand the incarnation of subjectivity. Likewise, some features which identify the corporal-being-in-the-world are presented: the body as our anchor to the world; the body as a center of orientation carrying in itself the ‘ground zero’; the body as a subject of capacities; the body as a mode of expression; the body as a subject of perception; the body, tied to the world, understood as a subject of space and time; hence, the body is intercorporality.
