Copia y simulacro en el Sofista de Platón

Abstract

RESUMEN: En el Sofista, Platón intenta determinar el ser del sofista. Para emprender su investigación se vale de un método de división, mediante el cual se caracteriza al sofista como poseedor de un arte que le permite imitar de la realidad del ente. A diferencia de Parménides, quien negaba el ser del no- ser. en la imagen se da una participación del no-ser en el ser. mediante la cual se da un tránsito entre La realidad del ente y el absoluto no-ser. En ese contexto. el autor intenta comprender la imitación artística, a la luz de la distinción que se establece entre dos formas de imitación: el arte de copiar y el simulacro. La diferencia entre ambas formas reside en la relación que cada una de ellas establece con el modelo, identificado -luego de un detallado análisis- con la realidad del ente.

ABSTRACT: In The Sophist. Plato aims lo determine the being of sophist. In their search, speakers recur to a method of division , thanks to which they describe the sophist as possessing an art by which he imitates reality of entity. Contrary to Parmenides, who would deny the being of non-Being. In Plato, in image non-Being shares being and becomes absolute non-Being. In this context, the author of the article tries to understand imitation in arts by distinguishing two ways of imitation: art of copying and simulacrum. The pretty difference between them lies in the way each one relates to the model, which after a very punctual analysis comes to be identified with the reality of entity itself.
