Tramar el sentido, tejer los signos, narrar las acciones. Una mirada semiótica a las significaciones imaginarias sociales

Abstract

RESUMEN: el presente texto estudia el papel de las significaciones imaginarias sociales desde una perspectiva semiótica, develando su importancia en la formación de sociedades y sujetos críticos. Se considera que las acciones y discursos mueven la historia, pues ellos son los signos de lo imaginario. Este último, por su parte, no se confi gura sin una narrativa que la fundamente. De esto se deriva que si bien toda revolución es una toma de conciencia, toda conciencia está atada a procesos sociales como las signifi caciones que construye la sociedad y como las reglas y normas que ésta se da a sí misma.

ABSTRACT: this article studies the role of social imaginary signifi cations from a semiotic perspective, revealing their importance in the formation of partnerships and critical subjects. It is believed that actions and discourses propel history, for they are the signs of the imaginary. This history does not take shape without a narrative as its basis. It follows that while every revolution is raising of consciousness, all consciousness is tied to social processes and the meanings that society constructs and the rules and norms that it gives itself.
