Imaginarios sociales de las y los jóvenes de la vereda El Llano sobre ser joven rural, San Cristóbal-Medellín

Abstract

RESUMEN: Esta investigación buscó acercarse a la construcción de los imaginarios sociales que han configurado las y los jóvenes que habitan la vereda El Llano del Corregimiento de San Cristóbal-Medellín, respecto a ser joven rural. Para cumplir con este objetivo se realizó un estudio de caso con 8 jóvenes que habitan la vereda (4 hombres y 4 mujeres), 2 actores institucionales, 2 actores académicos y 2 líderes sociales, en el cual se lograron reconocer aspectos significativos en torno a la relación de los jóvenes que habitan en contextos rurales con respecto a su territorio y las percepciones que tienen sobre la juventud, la juventud rural y el campesinado; permitiendo identificar algunas proyecciones con relación a la condición de ser joven rural para este contexto en particular.

ABSTRACT: This research project has been carried out with the purpose of trying to understand, not necessarily explain, how social conception or imaginaries are constructed (built) by young people (between 15 and 20 years old) living in the rural areas of the jurisdiction or “corregimiento” of El Llano, in San Cristóbal – Medellín. Via case studies, 8 youths (4 male, 4 female) living in the rural community and interviewing 2 institutional agents, 2 academics and 2 social leaders, information was gathered regarding the context within which young people perceive they live in. Significant aspects were recognized, particularly as to how young people relate within the context of their rural territory and the perceptions they have about youths, rural youths and being considered peasants; managing to identify some projections in relation to the condition of being a rural youth for this particular context.
