Turismo en zonas rurales de Sopetrán : la naturaleza y el paisaje como elementos indispensables

Abstract

RESUMEN: El turismo es una actividad económica de gran amplitud geográfica que se vincula con notables transformaciones territoriales. En Sopetrán, Antioquia, ha aumentado dicha actividad, por ello esta investigación busca caracterizar los cambios suscitados como resultado de su implementación, identificar la relación turística del municipio con el Valle de Aburrá y analizar el vínculo entre naturaleza, paisaje y turismo. Se emplearon diversas técnicas como la búsqueda de fuentes bibliográficas, entrevistas, observación participante y diario de campo. Se obtuvo un registro escrito, visual y de audio compuesto por anotaciones, fotografías y grabaciones. Se utilizó el sistema de información geográfica QGIS para ilustrar ciertos elementos de la investigación. Los datos obtenidos fueron contrastados para aportar validez y fiabilidad al proceso, a los resultados y conclusiones de esta investigación. En los resultados se encontró cierta conexión entre el Valle de Aburrá y el turismo en Sopetrán. Esta actividad económica ha venido generando cambios en el entorno natural y en la relocalización de actividades productivas en lo rural. Se reconoce el estrecho vínculo entre naturaleza, paisaje y turismo, notándose que los primeros son indispensables para la elaboración de productos turísticos que generan diversas valoraciones, significados y usos sobre la naturaleza por parte de locales y visitantes. Para concluir, es necesario que desde las Ciencias Sociales y los Estados se profundice en las investigaciones sobre el turismo, dado que la imagen benévola que posee puede ocasionar un crecimiento desbordado sin regulaciones que eviten potenciales amenazas para los territorios donde se lleva a cabo.

ABSTRACT : Tourism is an economic activity of great geographic scope that is linked to notable territorial transformations. In Sopetrán, Antioquia, this activity has increased, therefore the aim of this research is to characterize the changes that have occurred as a result of its implementation, to identify the tourist relationship of the municipality with the Aburrá Valley and to analyze the link between nature, landscape and tourism. Several techniques were used, such as the search of bibliographic sources, interviews, participant observation and field notes. A written, visual and audio record consisting of annotations, photographs and recordings was obtained. The QGIS geographic information system was used to illustrate certain elements of the research. The data obtained were contrasted to provide validity and reliability to the process, results and conclusions of this research. In the results, a certain connection was found between the Aburrá Valley and tourism in Sopetrán. This economic activity has been generating changes in the natural environment and in the relocation of productive activities in rural areas. The close link between nature, landscape and tourism is recognized, perceiving that the former are indispensable for the elaboration of tourism products that generate diverse valuations, meanings and uses of nature by locals and visitors. In conclusion, it is necessary for the Social Sciences and the States to deepen research on tourism, given that the benevolent image it has can cause an overflowing growth without regulations that avoid potential threats to the territories where it is carried out.
