La crítica literaria frente a la relación entre poesía y violencia en Colombia: ¿Espacio de memoria u olvido?

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo toma como foco de estudio la relación entre el discurso poético colombiano del último siglo y el fenómeno de la violencia. Más que ofrecer un análisis detallado de un corpus de obras en específico, el trabajo busca primero que todo visibilizar la inmensa laguna teórico-conceptual en torno al tema. Es con dicha laguna en mente que el trabajo, en una segunda instancia, propone posibles líneas de acercamiento al fenómeno de la violencia a partir de lo que el discurso poético tiene para ofrecer. En esta medida podría decirse que el trabajo da cuenta de la necesidad de un corpus crítico que permita estudiar cómo la poesía colombiana del siglo XX, y lo que va del siglo XXI, ha navegado, resistido, contestado, subvertido o incluso traspasado el umbral ontológico, discursivo, representacional y figurativo de la violencia y sus múltiples correlatos.

ABSTRACT: This articles takes as a focus of attention the relationship between Colombian poetic discourse and the phenomenon of violence. Rather than offering a detailed analysis of a specific corpus of poems, this article first of all seeks to make visible the vast theoretical and conceptual lacuna on the issue. It is with this gap in mind that the article then proposes possible lines of approaching the phenomenon of violence based on what poetic discourse has to offer. In this sense, it can be said that the article seeks to highlight the need of a theoretical corpus that allows for the study of how twentieth and twenty-first century Colombian poetry has navigated, resisted, contested, subverted or even trespassed the ontological, discursive, representational, and figurative threshold of violence and its multiple correlates.
