Monitoria del paciente crítico

Abstract

RESUMEN: La monitoría se utiliza para titular el funcionamiento corporal y las alteraciones debidas tanto a la enfermedad como al tratamiento. Permite evaluar el estado fisiológico de los sistemas cardiovascular, respiratorio, neurológico y renal, entre otros, además de establecer las tendencias hacia la estabilidad, la mejoría o el empeoramiento en la condición del enfermo. Durante la realización de la monitoría, los enfermeros recolectan información sobre variables de índole fisiológica, las cuales, después de ser analizadas, permiten tomar decisiones respecto de la planeación del cuidado de enfermería que mejor responda a las necesidades de los pacientes. En la mayoría de los servicios hospitalarios se cuenta con amplia variedad de formatos para registrar los datos de la monitoría. Palabras claves: Monitoreo paciente crítico

ABSTRACT: Monitoring is used to headlines bodily functions and alterations due to the illness as well as the treatment. It permits the evaluation of the physiological state of the cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and renal systems among others, as well as establishing tendencies towards stability, the improvement or detriment of the patient. During the monitoring the nurses collect information about variable physiological characteristics which after being analyzed then permit us to make decisions in respect to planning of the nursing care that best responds to the needs of the patient. In the majority of hospital services they count on a wide variety of formats to register the data from the monitoring. Key Words: Monitoring of Critical Patients
