Proyecto de creación: La Ruana

Abstract

RESUMEN : La Danza de la Ruana, una innovadora propuesta coreográfica, surge con el objetivo de fortalecer la identidad cultural del municipio de Caramanta, Antioquia, promoviendo una armoniosa convergencia entre la tradición de la ruana y la expresión artística de la danza. Esta iniciativa, profundamente arraigada en el patrimonio cultural del departamento de Antioquia, Colombia, busca establecer un diálogo coherente entre estos dos pilares de la cultura caramanteña, realzando así la rica herencia cultural que aún vive en el corazón de sus habitantes. El alcance de esta propuesta se manifiesta de forma significativa durante las Fiestas de la Ruana, un evento emblemático celebrado en octubre en el epicentro de Caramanta. En este contexto, la Danza de la Ruana se presenta como un vívido testimonio cultural, consolidando su relevancia al revitalizar y fortalecer los elementos identitarios de la comunidad. Más allá de una mera representación artística, esta propuesta refleja la capacidad de la cultura para tender puentes entre tradición y contemporaneidad, evitando la limitación hacia una lógica solo comercial.

ABSTRACT: La Danza de la Ruana, an innovative choreographic proposal, arises with the ambitious objective of strengthening the cultural identity of the municipality of Caramanta, Antioquia, promoting a harmonious convergence between the tradition of the ruana and the artistic expression of dance. This initiative, deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of the department of Antioquia, Colombia, seeks to establish a coherent dialogue between these two pillars of Caramante culture, thus enhancing the rich cultural heritage that still lives in the hearts of its inhabitants. The scope of this proposal is manifested in a significant way during the Fiestas de la Ruana, an emblematic event held in October in the epicenter of Caramanta. In this context, the Ruana Dance is presented as a vivid cultural testimony, consolidating its relevance by revitalizing and strengthening the identity elements of the community. Beyond a mere artistic representation, this proposal reflects the capacity of culture to build bridges between tradition and contemporaneity, avoiding superficial commercialization.
