Percepción de ser mujeres indígenas desde su territorio, prácticas y tradiciones en la comunidad Karmata Rúa de Jardín Antioquia

Abstract

RESUMEN : La presente investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo y perspectiva intercultural-decolonial, explora la percepción de la realidad de las mujeres indígenas Karmata Rúa del municipio de Jardín, Antioquia. Para ello, se utilizaron técnicas cualitativas como entrevistas, observación participante y se realizaron actividades de cartografía corporal y colcha de retazos a mujeres de diferentes edades. Esta investigación contribuye a visibilizar la voz y experiencia de las mujeres indígenas Karmata Rúa, los hallazgos muestran que las mujeres de esta comunidad tienen una fuerte conexión con su territorio, el cual es fuente de vida y sustento. Las prácticas y tradiciones, como la agricultura, las chaquiras y la medicina tradicional, son fundamentales para su identidad y autonomía. Las mujeres también reconocen la importancia de la educación y la participación política para el desarrollo de su comunidad. El hablar su lengua materna es un acto de resistencia a la cultura dominante. La transmisión de las prácticas y tradiciones es clave para la continuidad de su cultura.

ABSTRACT : The investigation at hand has a qualitative focus and an intercultural-colonial perspective, it explores de perception of the indigenous women Karmata Rúa of the municipality of Jardín, Antioquia. For that, certain qualitative techniques like interviews, participant observation and also corporal cartography and patchwork quilt, have been used with women with different ages. This investigation contributes to visualize the voice and experiencie of the Karma Rúa indigenous women, the findings show that the women of this community have a strong connection with their territory, which is the source of life and sustent. The costumes and traditions, like the agriculture, the shakiras and the tradicional medicine, are fundamental to their identity and autonomy. The women also aknowledge the importance of the education and the politic participation for the comunity's development. Speaking in their natuve language is an act of resistance to the dominant culture. The transmition of the practices and traditions is key for the continuity of their culture.
