Relaciones entre artes plásticas y salud mental para la transformación de los sujetos: una sistematización de experiencias pedagógicas con estudiantes de la Universidad de Antioquia 2022-2023

Abstract

RESUMEN: La experiencia sistematizada en este trabajo de grado se vivió en la Práctica Docente I y II del programa de Licenciatura en Educación: Artes Plásticas de la Universidad de Antioquia, el enfoque se dio alrededor de la salud mental y se llevó a cabo en el Departamento de Promoción de la Salud y Prevención de la Enfermedad del Sistema de Bienestar Universitario de la Universidad de Antioquia en el segundo semestre del año 2022 y el primer semestre del 2023. Su propósito principal busca profundizar en el conocimiento sobre las relaciones entre artes plásticas y salud mental enfocadas en la transformación de los sujetos a través de esta sistematización de experiencias. La metodología es de carácter cualitativo y para ello la hermenéutica fenomenológica permite obtener información a través de las experiencias y las vivencias de los sujetos inmersos en ella. Los hallazgos que se plasman aquí muestran cómo el arte posee un poder transformador en la vida de los sujetos y cómo puede emplearse como un medio que permite manifestar y entender aspectos de la psique que puedan precisar atención, finalmente recomienda a las Instituciones de Educación Superior implementar y reforzar estrategias de prevención y promoción en torno a la salud mental para sus estudiantes.

ABSTRACT: The experience systematized in this degree work was lived in Teaching Practice I and II of the Bachelor of Education: Plastic Arts program at the University of Antioquia, the focus was on mental health and was carried out in the Department of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention of the University Welfare System of the University of Antioquia in the second semester of 2022 and the first semester of 2023. Its main purpose seeks to deepen knowledge about the relationships between plastic arts and mental health focused on the transformation of subjects through this systematization of experiences. The methodology is qualitative in nature and for this purpose phenomenological hermeneutics allows obtaining information through the experiences and experiences of the subjects immersed in it. The findings reflected here show how art has a transformative power in the lives of subjects and how it can be used as a means that allows manifesting and understanding aspects of the psyche that may require attention. Finally, it is recommended that Higher Education Institutions implement and reinforce prevention and promotion strategies around mental health for their students.
