Abstract

RESUMEN: Los prejuicios son manifestaciones complejas que trascienden en lo personal y social, se afirma que es un fenómeno inevitablemente normal, proveniente de procesos de categorización y asociación mental del mundo y que, por ende, se presenta en todos los seres humanos. el prejuicio no es un fenómeno estático, sino que ha evolucionado y se ha adaptado a las épocas. La indiferencia, y la naturalización del fenómeno del prejuicio hace que no se preste atención a lo que emerge en la interacción con el otro, es relevante identificar como es la transición que permite pasar de estereotipos a prejuicios y posteriormente del prejuicio a la discriminación; entender cuáles son los motivos que permiten que una creencia genere un sentimiento y este a su vez termine en una conducta agresiva hacia otro; La triada estereotipo, prejuicio y discriminación, no se puede convertir en un círculo vicioso.
