Abstract

RESUMEN: Esta investigación presenta un estado del arte de las monografías de pregrado sobre Historia de la Cultura aprobadas por el Departamento de Historia de la Universidad de Antioquia, entre 1988 y 2014. El objetivo principal consiste en medir el aporte de dichos estudios en las temáticas que abarcan la historia de la cultura. Este reporte pretende además examinar a través de un análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo, cuáles fueron las fuentes usadas, las corrientes teóricas en las cuáles se sustentaron los trabajos, los referentes conceptuales y metodológicos, las temporalidades y los lugares investigados. De igual forma, este brinda reflexiones en torno a la Historia cultural y la historia de la cultura, además de sus vertientes. Finalmente, el trabajo ofrece a partir de las monografías una mirada a la perspectiva que los estudiantes han tenido acerca de las investigaciones enfocadas en el tema cultural, para así determinar que incidencia tiene dicha corriente en el Departamento de Historia de la Universidad de Antioquia.

ABSTRACT: This investigation presents a state of the art of undergraduate monographs on the History of the Culture approved by the Department of History at Universidad de Antioquia, between 1988 and 2014. The main goal consists in measuring the contribution of such studies to topics that encompass the history of culture. This report also aims to examine through a qualitative and quantitative analysis, which were the source materials used, the theoretical approaches in which the works are based, the conceptual and methodological references, the temporalities and places investigated. Similarly, it provides reflections around the cultural History and the history of culture, along with its facets. Finally, this work offers from the monographs an insight into the prospect that students have had of the investigations focused on cultural issues, in order to determine the incidence of this topic in the Department of History at Universidad de Antioquia.
