Hacia el romanticismo : recepción del romanticismo en Colombia a través de la prensa entre 1840 y 1880

Abstract

RESUMEN: El Romanticismo fue un movimiento que surgió en Europa hacia finales del último tercio del siglo XVIII y principios del siglo XIX. Este movimiento tuvo como características principales: el individualismo, la búsqueda de lo absoluto, el idealismo, la descripción de los paisajes y el sentimiento de rebeldía y libertad. En la presente investigación se pretende analizar a través de la prensa y más directamente la novela, cuál fue la influencia que tuvieron los románticos en el ámbito colombiano en un contexto de dificultades políticas entre Liberales y Conservadores, propiamente en el contexto de radicales entre 1840 y 1880.

ABSTRACT: The Romanticism was a movement that was originated in Europe toward the end of the 18 th and beginning of the 19 th century. The main features of this movement were: individualism, search of the absolute, idealism, the to nature description and defiance and liberty feeling. In this investigation the aim is study through the journal and specifically the romance, which was the influenced in Colombia by the European, in a context of political difficulties between Liberals and Conservatives parties, properly in the Radicals context between 1840 and 1880.
