Hitos de transformación social en Medellín a través del DRAFE

Abstract

RESUMEN: La ciudad de Medellín (Colombia) ha sido reconocida por altos índices de conflicto y desigualdad, esto ha acarreado para los entes gubernamentales estrategias de intervención que promuevan la erradicación de todo tipo de violencias en el municipio. El Instituto de Deportes y Recreación de Medellín (INDER) se ha encargado durante 25 años, de intervenir esta situación desde las prácticas de Recreación y Deporte. En este trabajo se presentan hitos de impacto social que la intervención del INDER Medellín ha tenido, para ello se llevó a cabo una estrategia de revisión documental de los informes realizados por el Observatorio del INDER y la sistematización de las mesas de gestión de Deporte, Recreación, Actividad Física y Escenarios (DRAFE), desde el año 2010 hasta el año 2018. Esta información fue abordada desde la perspectiva de las nociones de deporte y ocio de Norbert Elias, permiten develar las transformaciones producto del trabajo territorial del instituto en los barrios donde hace presencia, configurando con los actores, un ideal de calidad de vida que impacta a la familia, así como otras instituciones sociales, culturales y políticas de dichos territorios.

ABSTRACT: The city of Medellín (Colombia) has been recognized for its high levels of conflict and inequality. This has led to intervention strategies that promote the eradication of all types of violence in the municipality. The Institute of Sports and Recreation of Medellín (INDER in Spanish) has been in charge for 25 years of intervening in this situation from the practices of Recreation and Sports. This work presents the milestones of social impact that the intervention of INDER Medellín has had. To this end, a strategy was carried out to review the reports produced by the INDER Observatory and to systematize the management tables for Sport, Recreation, Physical Activity and Scenarios (DRAFE in Spanish) from 2010 to 2018. This information was approached from the perspective of the notions of sport and leisure of Norbert Elias, they allow to reveal the transformations product of the territorial work of the institute in the districts where it is present, configuring with the actors, an ideal of quality of life that impacts the family, as well as other social, cultural and political institutions of these territories.
