Revista del Ferrocarril de Antioquia, 1938-1946. Descripción y valoración histórica : el ferrocarril y el viaje como expresión de la nación

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo presenta los resultados de la descripción y valoración histórica de la serie documental Revista del Ferrocarril de Antioquia, 1938-1946, la cual reposa en el Archivo Histórico de Antioquia, fondo Ferrocarril de Antioquia, sección Impresos. Se partió de un diagnóstico del estado de la revista y la consulta de las normas archivísticas vigentes ISAG(G) y del AGN para su aplicación en el proceso. El resultado fue la creación de una matriz en Excel en la que se depositó la descripción para proceder con la valoración histórica y cuyo producto constituye una excelente herramienta para el investigador. La descripción y valoración de la Revista develó que la empresa Ferrocarril de Antioquia fue una pionera del desarrollo del turismo y la importancia de esta actividad en el fortalecimiento de la unidad nacional, aspectos que se analizan en un breve artículo.

ABSTRACT: This work presents the results of the description and historical assessment of the documentary series Revista del Ferrocarril de Antioquia, 1938-1946, which is located in the Historical Archive of Antioquia, Ferrocarril de Antioquia collection, section Printed. It was based on a diagnosis of the status of the journal and the consultation of the current archival standards of ISAG(G) and the AGN for their application in the process. The result was the creation of a matrix in Excel in which the description was deposited to proceed with the historical evaluation, the final product constitutes an excellent tool for researchers. The description and assessment of the Magazine revealed that the Antioquia Railway Company was a pioneer in the development of tourism and the importance of this activity in strengthening national unity, aspects that are analyzed in a short article.
