Se adoptó el uso del sufijo os/s que se une a la raíz del nombre del taxón parasitario, formado por el nominativo del nombre científico. | dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology and The World Federation of Parasitology recommended a uniform terminology to denominate animal parasitic diseases. It is useful for the effective utilization of cumputerized data retrieval services. The name of the disease is composed by the suffix osis added to the root of the name of the parasite taxon, formed by the nominative of the scientific name.
