Abstract

RESUMEN: Este libro, producto del aporte de diferentes autores de distintos países y lenguajes, presenta una síntesis de los principales recursos Web y producciones (artículos, libros, ponencias, etc.) sobre el tema de la Alfabetización Informacional en 42 idiomas. En este pdf se presenta el listado construido para el contexto de los países de habla hispana.

ABSTRACT: This publication is a result of a joint effort of a community of practice which is composed of professionals working in the field of Information Literacy. It is based on hundreds of conversations the author has held over many years with both the language list contributors and other LIS professionals concerning the need for such a product by teachers and ordinary persons who are not fluent in English. In addition, the author recommended to the content contributors to apply the enlarged definition of the term "information literacy” giving the maximum flexibility for how to define it and choose the specific but selected IL resources they wanted to include, taking into account their unique information and communication cultures and educational conventions".
