Representaciones sociales sobre el rol del psicólogo, que presentan los docentes con los que trabaja en el escenario educativo

Abstract

RESUMEN: El rol de los psicólogos no es del todo claro y su ejercicio profesional aún está sujeto a dudas y supuestos, se le atribuye ciertas competencias dependiendo de los distintos campos de acción de la psicología. Por esto, se quiso indagar por las representaciones sociales que tienen algunos docentes del rol del psicólogo, en el escenario educativo. Como resultado de esta investigación se encontró que, los maestros consideran muy necesaria la presencia del psicólogo para poder hacer frente a las problemáticas que allí se presente, siempre y cuando posea características que ayuden a la intervención como: ser empático, responsable, asertivo, comprometido, entre otras; denotando así una representación social predominantemente clínica.

ABSTRACT: The role of psychologists is not entirely clear and their professional practice is still subject to doubts and assumptions, is attributed certain competencies depending on the different fields of action of psychology. For this reason, we wanted to investigate the social representations that some teachers have of the role of the psychologist, in the educational scenario. As a result of this research, it was found that teachers consider the presence of the psychologist very necessary to deal with the problems presented there, as long as they have characteristics that help the intervention, such as: being empathetic, responsible, assertive, committed , among other; Denoting a predominantly clinical social representation.
