Memoria histórica y memoria colectiva : abordaje conceptual en el trabajo con víctimas del conflicto armado en Colombia

Abstract

RESUMEN: El trabajo “Memoria histórica y memoria colectiva: abordaje conceptual en el trabajo con víctimas del conflicto armado en Colombia” realiza una caracterización de los conceptos memoria histórica y memoria colectiva en documentos que abordan el trabajo realizado con víctimas del conflicto armado en Colombia y publicados en el periodo comprendido entre el 2005 y el 2015. Para ello fue necesario describir conceptualmente cada uno y analizar la relación de similitud, oposición o complementariedad entre ellos. En los trabajos realizados con víctimas del conflicto armado, surgen constantemente los conceptos memoria histórica y memoria colectiva, y otros conceptos de memoria emergentes, que soportan teoricamente las distintas elaboraciones. La memoria histórica, es tomada como aquella que apoya visiones hegemónicas y sustenta relatos de casos emblemáticos, es decir, aquella que sustenta las versiones oficiales de los hechos de un país o región. La memoria colectiva, se refiere a la forma como los protagonistas de los eventos, los vivieron en su singularidad, es un proceso simbólico que posibilita la construcción de sentido y significado para lo vivido. Lo más importante, más allá del uso del concepto, es el objeto mismo de la reconstrucción de memorias y este, está dirigido a re significar, dignificar, recordar, buscar justicia y reconocimiento para las víctimas del conflicto armado en Colombia.

ABSTRACT: The work "Historical memory and collective memory: conceptual approach in the work with victims of the armed conflict in Colombia" makes a characterization of the concepts of historical memory and collective memory in documents that deal with the work done with victims of the armed conflict in Colombia and published in the period between 2005 and

2015. For this it was necessary to conceptually describe each one and analyze the relationship of similarity, opposition or complementarity between them. In the works done with victims of the armed conflict, the concepts of historical memory and collective memory, and other emerging concepts of memory, that theoretically support the different elaborations, are constantly emerging. The historical memory is taken as one that supports hegemonic visions and supports stories of emblematic cases, that is, one that supports the official versions of the facts of a country or region. The collective memory refers to the way in which the protagonists of the events lived them in their singularity; it is a symbolic process that makes possible the construction of sense and meaning for what was lived. The most important thing, beyond the use of the concept, is the object itself of the reconstruction of memories and this is aimed at re meaning, dignify, remember, and find justice and recognition for the victims of the armed conflict in Colombia.
