Violencia paramilitar y estructura agraria en los Montes de María

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo es una aproximación a la relación entre la violencia paramilitar y la configuración de la Estructura Agraria, específicamente en los Montes de María, una subregión del Caribe colombiano. Para ello, se analiza al fenómeno paramilitar desde una mirada socio-histórica que permite visibilizarlo como un proyecto estatal, el cual se desarrolló de diversas formas en las distintas regiones del país; adicionalmente, se muestran las características más generales de la estructura agraria a nivel nacional junto con el proceso de configuración histórica, los sistemas de tenencia de la tierra y las redes de poder que le dan forma a la estructura agraria de los Montes de María. Tales ejercicios desembocan en un intento por dilucidar la incidencia del accionar del Bloque paramilitar “Héroes de los Montes de María” (1997-2005) sobre la configuración actual de la estructura agraria de dicha región.

ABSTRACT: The present work is an approximation to the relationship between paramilitary violence and the configuration of the Agrarian Structure, specifically in the Montes de María, a sub-region of the Caribbean Colombian. For this, the paramilitary phenomenon is analyzed from the socio-historical perspective that makes it visible as a project State, which was developed in different ways in the different regions of the country; additionally, the most characteristic features are shown of the agrarian structure at the national level together with the historical configuration process, the tenure systems of the land and the networks of power that shape the agrarian structure of the Montes de María. Such exercises result in an attempt by elucidate the incidence of the actions of the paramilitary bloc "Heroes de Montes de María "(1997-2005) on the current configuration of the agrarian structure of the said region.
