Cuerpos blindados : símbolos, representaciones y prácticas

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo de investigación tiene como interés mostrar algunas de las prácticas, símbolos y representaciones que hay en torno a la protección del cuerpo en algunos sujetos que pertenecen a grupos o combos al margen de la ley en la ciudad de Medellín.

El contexto es algo fundamental y por eso trata de evidenciar es esa ciudad que es poco habitada o entendida por las instituciones del estado, en donde por décadas existe la ley del más fuerte sin mediación del estado, las formas en que esto se logró fue a través del registro fotográfico y escrito usando como herramientas principales la cámara y el diario de campo.

Se evidencian múltiples creencias en torno a la protección o blindaje del cuerpo y se reconocen además algunos estigmas que poseen los mismos entrevistados, los ejes temáticos del trabajo son la antropología del cuerpo, el cuerpo como símbolo, el concepto de estigma y el territorio y la violencia. Estos conceptos tan propios de la antropología se ponen como en una especie de diálogo con lo que se encuentra teóricamente y lo que se evidencia en las Narraciones de los entrevistados así se agrupa la mayoría de la información recolectada en campo y además esta información es respaldada por pensamientos de autores que han contribuido al conocimiento antropológico.

ABSTRACT: This research work aims to show some of the practices, symbols and representations that exist around the protection of the body in some subjects that belong to groups or combos outside the law in the city of Medellín.

The context is something fundamental and that is why it tries to show that it is a city that is little inhabited or understood by the institutions of the state, where for decades there is the law of the strongest without state mediation, the ways in which this was achieved were to Through the photographic and written record using as main tools the camera and the field diary.

There are multiple beliefs about the protection or shielding of the body and some stigmas are recognized that have the same interviewees, the thematic axes of the work are the anthropology of the body, the body as a symbol, the concept of stigma and the territory and the violence. These concepts so typical of anthropology are put in a kind of dialogue with what is theoretically found and what is evidenced in the narratives of the interviewees so that most of the information collected in the field is grouped and this information is also supported by thoughts of authors who have contributed to anthropological knowledge.
