Representaciones sociales sobre el trabajo : experiencias de personas trans femeninas en Apartadó - Antioquia

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este informe de investigación da cuenta de las representaciones sociales que sobre el trabajo hacen las personas trans femeninas del municipio de Apartadó-Antioquia. El trabajo es una categoría polisémica que ocupa un lugar importante en la vida de las personas y sus relaciones. En este sentido, en la investigación se asumió una perspectiva fenomenológica que recuperó el discurso de las participantes desde técnicas dialógicas como la entrevista y el compartir, orientados desde su estructura en ejes temáticos como: significado del trabajo, percepciones de las condiciones de trabajo y actitud frente al contexto del trabajo, además, el no encontrar soporte teórico que represente el trabajo de este sector social del municipio de Apartadó, hizo necesario y relevante su abordaje.

Los desenlaces de la investigación muestran que las personas trans femeninas significan el trabajo desde el predominio material, la expresión sociocultural, el impacto individual-sentimental y desde la posibilidad de reafirmación de la identidad. Sosteniéndose además en lo subjetivo la precariedad e innumerables riesgos de las condiciones del trabajo trans femenino. También, las principales conclusiones señalan que gran parte de estas personas en el mercado del trabajo, han sido relegadas a la clandestinidad, a lo “inmoral” y ello promueve sus significaciones de la realidad, y dentro de esas riquezas simbólicas de los significados, esos espacios de marginación son negociados como formas de resistencia y reafirmación de la expresión de género en la sociedad, acciones que intentan desestabilizar, retar o alterar las estructuras que les oprimen.

ABSTRACT: This research reports on the social representations that trans female persons in the municipality of Apartadó-Antioquia make about work. In this sense, the research assumed a phenomenological perspective that recovered the participants' discourse from dialogical techniques such as interview and sharing, oriented from their structure in thematic axes such as: meaning of work, perceptions of working conditions and attitudes related to the context of work, in addition, not finding theoretical support that represents the work of this social sector in the municipality of Apartadó, made its approach necessary and relevant.

The results of the research show that trans female persons signify work from the material predominance, the sociocultural expression, the individual-sentimental impact and from the possibility of reaffirmation of identity. Furthermore, the precariousness and innumerable risks of the conditions of trans female work are sustained in the subjective. Also, the main conclusions indicate that a large part of these people in the labor market have been relegated to secrecy, to the "immoral" and this promotes their meanings of reality, and within those symbolic riches of meanings, those spaces of marginalization are negotiated as forms of resistance and reaffirmation of the expression of gender in society, actions that try to destabilize, challenge or alter the structures that oppress them.
