La construcción del desarrollo sostenible en el marco de la implementación de la educación ambiental municipal de Itagüí

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente documento es un informe de práctica para optar al título de pregrado en Sociología de la Universidad de Antioquia, que pretende determinar y analizar la injerencia de los Programas de Educación Ambiental implementados por la administración municipal, la Secretaría de Educación y la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente en la comunidad educativa de la Institución Enrique Vélez Escobar del Municipio de Itagüí, Antioquia. Este informe está soportado por un enfoque metodológico de tipo cualitativo y etnográfico, puesto que, parte de la premisa de que la realidad es una construcción social y que su análisis e interpretación depende de los contextos de cada sujeto en particular. Este informe, describió y analizó dichos Programas de Educación Ambiental y encontró que son recibidos por la comunidad educativa positivamente, ya que, los estimula de manera práctica y no solo teórica a cuidar el entorno que los rodea, además, de crearles una sensibilidad en lo relativo al medio ambiente, que se convierte en una solución a mediano y largo plazo para las problemáticas ambientales.

ABSTRACT: This document is a report of practice for the undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Antioquia, which aims to determine and analyze the interference of the Environmental Education Programs implemented by the municipal administration, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Environment in the educational community of the Enrique Velez Escobar Institution of the Municipality of Itagui, Antioquia. This report is supported by a qualitative and ethnographic methodological approach, since it is based on the premise that reality is a social construct and that its analysis and interpretation depends on the contexts of each individual subject. This report described and analyzed these Environmental Education Programs and found that they are received positively by the educational community, since it stimulates them in a practical and not only theoretical way to take care of the environment that surrounds them, in addition to creating a sensitivity regarding the environment, which becomes a medium and long term solution to environmental problems.
